I’m Alex Potter, a trail runner, nurse, and photographer…who once held the nickname of Pirate Queen.
I have been a multi-sport athlete nearly all my life. I ran competitively in high school and college, figure skated and played hockey at a young age, started rucking heavy in the mountains for two summers as a wildland firefighter, and ski on both water and snow.
When I moved out west after nearly eight years overseas, I found a real love in trail running and strength training. From the arid rolling desert trails of Arizona, to the steep and mucky ascents in Alaska, I believe the mountains bring out strength in us all.
I am at the point in my journey I want to share the knowledge and skills gained with others to help reach their goals out on the trails. So whether you are training for a local zippy ramble, or a soul-quest day-long adventure, I’m here for it!
I am currently working on my UESCA certifications in Running and Ultrarunning, and continue to seek knowledge in my practice as a runner and coach.

I love helping women in particular develop upper body strength. Even a confidence boosting project like doing your first pull-up, or kicking down that false notion that you can’t be strong and fast!
